I haven't removed mine. But I have read that it is on there pretty tight. Just take the bolt out of the bottom and find a way to pry it off without damaging anything.

thanks for the digram but just the mirror from the unit it self I remember it came loose on mine and I snaped it back in but not sure if it was the top or bottom then you screw out the rest of it.

I removed the mirror part first while it was still on the door. It gave me some leverage to wiggle it off. It comes off upwards. You have to first remove the torx screw underneath. Then I took off the bracket connected to the door.
The first time I did this, I took the entire mirror off of the door first then tried to remove the upper mirror part. Man, it was tough to get off. I couldnt get any leverage. I ended up putting it in a vise and wiggling it off with some effort.

Got a link? Did a search with no luck. Lots of mirror assembly , but not just the mirror itself....
