Unfortunately I bought my 2010 a year and a half ago. I don't have warranty on it any longer. Does Chrysler have extended warranty or etc?

I doubt the dealership would fix it for me as I bought it used. I might try that with the inner shift boot. Mines never popped out so its more or less just the sloppiness.

I got my syncros done under warrantee. Had to fight to get it but the threat of parking the Jeep on the managers car got things squared away.

Would that be under the 100,000 mile warranty?

The Mercedes-Benz designed and manufactured (yes, new ones from the factory have "Mercedes-Benz" printed in large letter on the crate) are the worst piece of automotive engineering it has been my displeasure to interact with in over 50 years of driving manual vehicles. I can't say enough bad things about this suck-ass transmission (my language alone should clue you in as to my feelings on this). Even my 1982 Ford EXP with a manual front transaxle had better shifting feel, more obvious shift gates, and that lovely "snick" that makes driving manual transmissions such a joy. The German nation should hang their collective heads in shame!

Not that i was having any problems before but changing the fluid did make the transmission seem to shift smoother
