long cold start up
#11
when you go to start it, do you just turn the key from off start to starting or do you move to on and wait a few seconds then start?
if you're just going off to start, try the other way which will give the fuel pump time to push fuel back up and may be a good indicator of whether you are losing pressure at the fuel rail over time (which could be the pump itself). I would turn to on, count to 5 then turn it over and see if it fires right up or not.

I have the same problem on my '07, but there is no pattern to it. It just does it whenever it feels like it. I know it's not the fuel pump cause I've replaced that. I figured I would just deal with it when it decides not to start one day.
Oh and I should mention that it's done that the whole 2 years I've had it. I bought it with 87,000 miles and now have 119,000.

Crap I can't remember what I bought. I bought them from advance auto and I believe double platinum. I asked for the best ones but I know that doesn't always mean anything.

Had this problem with my 2011. Intermittent long crank. Which progressively got worse to the point where it wouldn't start for days. Then it would start.
First dealer told me it was either the pcm or tipm and would cost a million dollars. Decided to take it to another dealership and they replaced the fuel pump relay for $99. No problems since then. Check your fuel pump relay.
