thanks .... found it on moparpartsamerica.com

if anyone else is looking ... go to above website ... search for 2007 Jeep Wrangler. Scroll down to "Instrument Panel" --> then click "Console" --> "Console Assy" --> "Clip"

I lost one while installing the daystar dash pad. I robbed one from my center bezel!

FYI, I was just looking up this part - and the part # is 68002742AA. I'm going to go to NAPA and see if they have something cheaper - my dealer quoted me 4.20 per clip!!!

Freaking dealer thieves - 4 dollars for what? one 30 cent part?!

Go to clipsandfasteners.com do a search for part number 19794. I bought a box of 25 for 9 bucks, I'll never run out.

Default Possible clip resting place

I was about to order from clips and fasteners, but since I had lost 2 i gave it more more shot to find them. I could hear them fall when I was pulling the dash cluster out, but they were not on the floor, or even underneath the center console.
I then tried to track the possible paths, and found a location where they could slide, since I heard a slide but no cling when it should hit the metal under the dash. I tried to pull the side of the lower dash to see how it was connected. It slipped and snapped back into place. I heard a what sounded like a metal ring. I pulled the below piece out 1 more time, let it snap back on purpose, and out popped one of my lost clips.

I couldn't feel, or get my other lost clip to pop out, so I stuck a magnetic tip in to search. Click image for larger version

I had to bend the tip around the side of the grey console since the bottom is cupped, which is where the 2nd clip was sitting. I pulled the magnet out and my 2nd lost clip was attached.

Just a possible location for others with lost clips, and you can even try to with the console all together. It might be worth a shot if you lost 1 of the lower clips, or copper colored ones. They easily slide through the square hole behind the center dash cluster when pulled, and land in the above location.

BBKOZ, your my hero! My "lost forever clip" was right in the exact spot you pointed out. A little tapping on the plastic and "jingle jingle". Fished it out and put it back where it goes.
I love this forum!!!
