OK so dealership is not going to warranty this one! Next is insurance or new axle!

Please refer to my earlier post. You dont need a new axle. These are pics of my TJ's lower control arm brackets when i bent and almost broke them off. Clayton Offroad has brackets. So does rusty's and I think EVO also. These are 1/4" thick and will be alot stronger then stock. Just find a welder who can put them on. It doesnt cost that much to do this. Good luck.

Well good luck to him. I was just trying to save him a lot of money. I was told that I needed a new axle also when I bent mine and then I did some research and realized that this is common on jeeps because the factory makes the brackets so thin. It ended up being better then before and is cheap to do. I have been thinking about putting new brackets on my JK so I don't end up screwing those up also.
Hope everything works out for him.
