Did you have only the new fill tube with the check valve installed?
If so, you still have the old defective check valve in the tank.

Usually the original check valve in the tank fails to close due to being swollen from the effects of ethanol in the gasoline. A new check valve in the fill tube eliminates the symptoms while the original check valve remains in the tank.

Your original check valve may have failed in a slightly different way, causing the tank to not fill completely.
If that's the case, they should replace your tank.

Another possibility is they may have failed to reconnect a vent tube.

I know this is an OLD thread, but I checked my VIN and it says my jeep qualifies for the warranty extension (x32). It is a 2008 JKUR and I am the 2nd owner, anyone know if this extended lifetime warranty is transferrable?

It's an extension of the basic warranty. The basic warranty is transferable. There is no mention of the extension being not transferable.
