Lifetime Warranty for Fuel Overflow

After having the check valve replaced. . Anyone notice their fuel gauge was no longer indicating correctly? Just had mine replaced at no charge at my local dealership. . 08 2 Dr.
Fueled up the next day. . Fuel gauge indicating just over 3/4 when I topped it off.

If so, you still have the old defective check valve in the tank.
Usually the original check valve in the tank fails to close due to being swollen from the effects of ethanol in the gasoline. A new check valve in the fill tube eliminates the symptoms while the original check valve remains in the tank.
Your original check valve may have failed in a slightly different way, causing the tank to not fill completely.
If that's the case, they should replace your tank.
Another possibility is they may have failed to reconnect a vent tube.

I know this is an OLD thread, but I checked my VIN and it says my jeep qualifies for the warranty extension (x32). It is a 2008 JKUR and I am the 2nd owner, anyone know if this extended lifetime warranty is transferrable?
