I am having the same issue on a 10. Called the dealer and it's not a recall on mine. Do you by chance have the part number for the fix?

Never got any letter. However, I "fixed" this issue a long time ago by using the pump's low flow option. That is, when refueling my Jeep I put the pump handle's lever at the lowest setting. Never had a problem since then.

I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler & mine just started doing this a few months ago. I knew this would be the place to find out how to get it fixed. We 're a 2 Jeep family & the 09 was already doing this. So now we know how to solve it for both. Really tired of the gas splash back . Thanks for the info!

What's the part number for new filler neck? I just replaced mine with what is supposed to be the new style but still spits up.

Just took my 10 to the dealer after reading that Chrysler extended a warranty on this problem on some vehicles. My plan was to buy the filler neck listed a few post back but after they looked at the problem a diagnosed it by unhooking a few lines the decided it was the fuel tank that was the problem. Chrysler is going to cover it even
With it being out of warranty.

It says the problem is the overflow check valve. Of course my Jeep started overflowing about a year ago. I haven't filled it up totaly since.
I guess I can take it in now.

I have an 08 and it was built 3 months after the extended warranty for the overflow. My jeep puked on me every time I filled it, no matter how careful I was. I did some research and found out Chrysler had issued a fix for the problem. It is part number CNNNX321AC. It's a fill tube with a check valve. I bought a new one on eBay for $31. It is a 20 minute install and completely fixed the problem. I can leave the nozzle in on full fill and it will shut itself off without a drop burping back out. My shoes and plastic fenders are happy now.

Ask the dealer if they will reimburse you.
There are 2 warranty extensions.
The first one covers '07s and '08s built between two dates. NUMBER: 14-003-12
The second one covers '07s and '08s built before and after the dates in the first one. NUMBER: 14-001-13

Fueled up the next day. . Fuel gauge indicating just over 3/4 when I topped it off.
