If he is the original owner, its a possibility.

Since it's an '07 though, odds are very high he doesn't... Even if he's the original owner.

What?! 3/36 Bumper-to Bumper is standard, as is the 5/100,000 Power Train for the original owner. There is a small transfer fee for the 5/100 if you are the subsequent owner. If you are the first owner, call Chrysler about that " extra charge"

Model year 2009 was supposed to be the last year offered but I suppose it could have ended with a particular VIN series if some 2010 have coverage.

I have an 07 JK purchased in august 08. I have the lifetime powertrain coverage. Call a dealer and give them your VIN they will look it up takes 5 seconds. only thing not covered is the fuel and exhaust system.

I moved to Ohio and I wanted to check my coverage at the new dealership (09 Unimited Rubi) since I had the lifetime warranty deal when I bought it new in October '09. They service manager looked at me and said, "You do not have lifetime coverage" your warranty expires after 1,000,000 miles. I was cool with that!

screw that.
lifetime means LIFETIME.
since when is lifetime a million?

I'll let my lawyer loose on them if they try to screw me out of my Lifetime warranty.

Make sure you take your Jeep in for the dealership inspection every 5 years. If not, that voids the lifetime warranty. It's listed in the manual.
