Default License Plate Relocation?!

Everytime I go offroading I rip off the license plate holder as it sticks out way too far on the driver side. I've heard that there are brackets for the rear tire mount but I can't find one that will work with the new Fab Fours Bumper for the JK. Awesome bumper by the way!

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Brian

The stock fenders and bumper stick out further than the licence plate holder. If your ripping off you licence plate frame every time you go off roading I want to see pics. I know you don't have the stock bumper but I still cann't figure out how your hitting the plate holder, your Jeep must be all scratched up back there.

I agree.....if you're ripping off your plate one has to question your driving skills..

That being said, I wouldn't mind relocating as well...just cause...I'd like to put diamond plates on the corners and then do something else with the license...so a good discussion.

Nice WOL. I may have to look into that.

Thanks for your reply. How do I upload pics? I would be glad to show you what is going on. The fender gives and it catches the license plate. The bumper is much smaller than the license plate. I go wheeling every weekend and have to go through many tight tree lines. On the longer wheel-base 4 door unlimiteds, this is one of the extra challenges on the trail.

It's not as hard to do as you think. I've been out one time and did this within 45 min.
