I'll have to pull my buyer's guide/ sales manual from 2010 but they claim the Sahara has the same shock as the Rubicon......yet it appears that the sport/ Sahara are the same.

1 - Your Jeep Model: X, Unlimited or Rubicon 2 door or 4 door
Rubicon 2 door
Tow package
2 - Heaviest top you got the jeep with
Hard top
3 - Your Front Left Spring Number (all jeeps have one number higher on the left than the right to account for drivers side gas tank weight)
Both front springs: 14AC
4 - Your Rear Spring Number
Both rear springs: 57AA
5 - Your Shock Part Number only if Red/Rubicon shocks, if Black just say black.
Rubicon shocks
6 - The fourth Digit in your VIN: either F or G
VIN position 4: B
7 - Year of the Jeep
2012
I have a 19/59 spring set inbound. I will advise when I have them installed.

I couldnt take the squashed front look anymore. I installed the 19s in the front end after work today. I did one side at a time. I removed the lower bolts from the shock and swaybar link. Letting that side of the axle down I was able to weasel the 14 out of the mounts. No dice on slipping the 19s in there. I had to use a spring compressor.
After getting it buttoned up I measured and found that I had gained just over 1.38 inches. I'm sure it would have been more if the front end didn't have over 100 pounds of
winch and bumper on it.
The Jeep appears level at this point, but I thing I'm going to go ahead with the 59s in the rear so that when I throw 100 pounds of gear in the back it won't squat the rear.

sold my 2.5AEV and have a 3.5 aev coming in on Friday but I needed to have my jeep as it is my daily driver. slapped in some 18/60 coils that I had left over from my jkur and a set of 1/2" teraflex spacers that I had floating around. ended up sitting pretty tall for just 1/2" spacers.

Hi, i'm a newbie to this forum and jeeps in general. My front coils are 6314AC (pass) and i would like to replace all the springs with softer ones. What number refers to the spring rate? I don't want to lift or lower, just a nicer ride.

i cancelled the trade.

OMG what a shit pile of info on springs that are useless. At the worst one will need a budget puck lift which makes my son's 16 JKUR ride waaaay better and it is level now so doesn't dive into potholes. Obvious that best choice for 4 wheeling past the supermarket one will need a quality spring replacement set like Metalcloak or AEV etc. I have a set of 2008 Ruby U springs I would give away but shipping cost would probably kill the effort. They are fatter coil material than my sons 2016. We measured with Vernier caliper and my front diff tubes are fatter. Jeep rhymes with cheep.
