Longer spring right, shorter spring left (driver) side

Ok so I went out and measured both front springs one spring was a # 52126317AB it measured at 17.5" the unmarked spring measured at a butt hair over 18making it a full half inch taller. and by what I have read would make the unknown spring a #52126318AB passenger side spring. would you all concur?

1 - Unlimited Sahara
2 - Hard Top
3 - 52126315AB (right front tag is gone)
4 - 68004458AA
5 - Black
6 - G
7 - Early 2008 (Built Nov. 2007)

According to the build sheet and window sticker I have HD Suspension w/ Gas shocks, GVW Rating. Totally off topic but what is Hydraulic Assist Brake Booster? Is that when some dumbass is begging to get t-boned and runs a red light as your going through an intersection, you stand on the brakes and the computer senses you're in panic mode then applies max. braking power?

Most older brake systems used a vacuum off the engine to assist in braking, hydraulic assist uses the steering wheel hydraulic pump in aiding in applying force to the brakes, in the jk, it also has the added benefit of running additional brake lines to aid in hill assist.

Question

I have:

1. Rubicon Unlimited (tow Pkg)
2. soft top
3. 52126315AB
4. 68004459AA
5. Red Shocks
6. Vin=G
7. 2008

I noticed I have a 15AB spring on driver's side and a 16AB spring on the pax side, what gives? Seems like I should have a 17AB and 18 AB, no? Is it possible that a) the factory put in the wrong parts or b) someone at the dealer traded out springs? I purchased an 08 in Jan during the first big sell off.

given my coils are 15 3/8" and 16 3/8" going to his would be anywhere from 17 3/8" to 19 3/8"

and would his components make my jeep ride a little better?
Would this help??
and does anybody think additional lift is worth $75, or am i throwing money away

My part numbers...

2008 X S24 2 dr Build date 2/2008
Freedom top (supposed to have HD suspension)
VIN: F
Front left spring: P/N 52126313AB
Front right spring: P/N 52126314AB
Rear springs are: P/N 68004256AA
Front shocks are: Black, stickers missing
Rear shocks are: Black P/N 68028455AB (do not appear to be gas shocks as build sheet states).

I'll be visiting the dealer on Friday to get the factory rep in to inspect my Jeep. I paid for gas shocks, and by God, they will be installing them if these turn out to be standard junk.

It's interesting to note that the front springs can be found on various JK 2 doors, from the 2008 basic X through the 2009 Rubicon. The rear springs can be found on the 2008 Rubicon. These higher rate rear springs, combined with the lower rate front springs is likely what causes the forward rake of the vehicle. I would not be surprised if the 52126314AB and 52126315AB springs would level it off.

My regards,

Widewing
