I am going to take a guess on this..

When I bought my 2011 it was born with a soft top, but I wanted a Freedom top, so the dealer pulled the hard top off a another 2011 on the lot... I ended up with 14/55's on a new JK with a soft top.. Maybe.. your JK was the donor of a hard top to another JK ?

1 - Unlimited Sport S
2 - Hardtop only
3 - 16/17
4 - 59
5 - black
6 - B
7 - 2012

Doesn't seem like I would get much of a boost with 18/19 and 60's so I guess I have to decide between a leveling kit with springs or a 2.5 lift.

Probably because you got the tow package. This is the same setup I ended up with on my JKU Sport with tow package, though I have the hard top.

I think it was determined that we stand to gain about 1/3" per spring rate increase.

Interesting... I was thinking about going with the leveling kit that had the springs instead of the spacers.... I guess I could try to source some 19's and then get the spacer kit... that might be a little cheaper

With the springs you are starting with I'd just do a budget boost. That small of a change wouldn't really be worth it. There are tons of ways to fit 35's on a jk with little cost. A budget boost with shock extensions seems like one of the best bangs for the buck. Or no lift and chopped fenders. A jku can also be lifted higher (except 2012's) without driveline mods. Or get a spring lift kit like the Old Man Emu HD kit and then sell your factory springs to offset some of the cost.

Those of you that have bought new springs, where did you go? I've been price shopping several places online and the best I've found is $33 for the 19 spring and $40 for the 18 spring. Any place better than that before I pull the trigger?

Also, I'm looking at pn's 52126318AC and 19AC. But, I've also seen 18AB and 19AB, as well as 18AA and 19AA. Whats the difference?

Ok I'm adding some info here maybe this will help someone.

I was running 14s in the front and from the ground to the curved part of the flare i was at 39 inches both sides with a low tank of fuel.

I added a RR XHD winch bumper with ends/hoop, and a Warn 9.5 cti-s. Springs sagged to about 38 1/8 passenger and 38 1/2 driver with about 3/4 tank of fuel. Not bad didn't ride bad but the extra rake was bugging me and i figure the extra weight was being hard on the springs so i ordered up some 16 springs.

After install and bouncing the suspension a bit to get everything set, i measured 39 1/4 passenger and 39 3/8 driver with the same about 3/4 tank of fuel......

My goal was to keep the height as close to stock as i could. i figure after the springs settle a bit it should be just where i wanted it.

Just some info for everyone......HTH

Getting ready to order my front springs tomorrow. The Jeep currently has a 15 on the drivers side and a 16 on the pass side. Should I order an 18 and 19, or just two 19's?

Go with the two 19's. I wondered that too and I'm pretty happy with the setup, even after 15k miles...
