I guess I should get going on selling my factory springs that I took off my 2011 JKU Rubicon with 11,000kms
I had the dual top and the tow package.

I will bet that this will leave you with a 2" gain in the front and 1" in the rear.

So I searched through most of the thread and have a question that might not have been asked yet. I have 14/55's on my 07 2dr x. Lets say I go with 18/58's and gain an inch to an inch and a half. Does this make my wrangler essentially the same as a wrangler rolling off the factory floor with the same setup? And if so, doesn't that mean I can add a RC 2.5 BB and still be safely in the window of 3 inches before needing to upgrade driveshafts? Or do the 18/58's give me an inch lift that essentially takes away from my playing room before having to upgrade ds, and a 2.5 BB would put me over the top?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I ran 18/59 with a TF 2.5" BB for about 7 months. It was a bout 3" of lift combined and I had no issues with DS etc... The only issue (too small to truly effect anything), was my axle shifted about a 1/4 or so... That can be fixed with an ADJ trac bar...

Thats how I see it, spring lifts indicate between 2.5 and 3.5" of lift because they don't know which model it's being installed on... 19/60 combo with 2.5" bb is the optimum and Max lift before upgrading DS. On a 2dr it might be the fringe of replacement depending on trail use

1 - Jeep 4 Door Unlimited Sport
2 - Hard top
3 - 17's for both sides
4 - 58's
5 - Black
6 - VIN: B
7 - 2012
The only options that came with the Jeep are Auto, HardTop, 3.73 gears, and Limited Slip Diff.
I have seen a lot of post about the gas tank, but nobody has mention that the 2 door comes with an 18 gallon tank and the 4 Door is a 22 gallon tank. Could this factor any in the spring rate for the Jeep?

What's really funny is I was parked next to a 2011 leftover rubi and it was the same height as mine with a teraflex leveling kit. Maybe the tire had something to do with it. I'm on my 265 winter tires now.
