My 2011 2dr sport 6speed soft top has 14 and 55s. I also have MT MTZ 33s and would like a little lift. I upgraded to rubi shock and really like the ride. I purchased a set of 17 and 58 which I have not installed yet. My question is how does upgrading springs and shock compare to a small lift kit.

Will have I have to get longer shocks or need anymore modifications?

I went out with a flashlight and grabbed my tags, here is what I have:

1 - Rubicon 2 door
2 - Soft top
3 - Front D/S Spring - 52126314AB
Front P/S Spring - 52126315AB
4 - Rear Spring - 68004256AA
5 - Rear Shock - Red Rubicon shocks
6 - G
7 - 2008

So if I went with 19's up front and 60's in the rear what do you think I would gain? Anyone done this switch?

And keep everything else stock? It won't mess with my e-disco or bottom out my shocks?

Thanks a million - Josh

Dude, without any other mods, it'll be close to 2", if not a bit over. I wish I could've measured before my mods though. I put 19/60's with bumpers and a Warn M8k and have received significant lift, about 1 3/4 after my mods!

I beg to differ. I went from the 14's to the 19's and my gain was just that, dude. I only wish I coulda taken pics before and after installing them.

I put 3/4" on mine too. Virtually no rake at all.

I currently hqve 6/17 and 56 in the rear. Is it worth going to 18/59 with rubi shocks? Also may be a stupid ? but will 2011 springs and shocks fit on my 2007?

2010 2 Dr, Sport, Rag top, 6spd, 16" pizza cutters.

14's both sides front / 55's both rear.

Installed 3/4" leveler pucks front and rear and Rancho 5000 shocks. Rides much better and doesn't bottom out as easy, ride is soft but tends to roll alot and favors leaning to the passanger side with a full tank of gas until I get in, then it levels out.

Thinking about changing out to 245/75/16's when the stock 225/75/16's wear all the way out. Shouldn't be long The 245's are a little over an inch taller; I don't think that will effect the power much even with 3.21 gearing being I have the 6spd.

I've only browsed through this thread, so forgive me if this has been covered before. Is there anyone that had four different number springs on theirs? I just went out to the garage and looked at mine on the shelf. I had 16/17 up front and 58/59 on the rear. Jeep is a 4dr Sahara w/ hardtop and no tow package.
