Could someone measure the distance from the back of the center console to the tailgate with the seats down? I'm thinking about getting an Unlimited, but I would like to know how deep the cargo space is with the seats down.

With out measuring I know for a fact that you have twice as much space just up to the back seat and then probably another 2.5ft from where the seats are to teh console. I was actually impressed with how much room is back there compared to my 2 door JK. If no one has posted up a measurement, I will do it when I get home from work.

 

dont have the exact meassurement, but: with the front seats all the way aft, i was able to haul a tool chest meassuring 54 1/4"(W) X 29 1/4"(D) X 25 1/4" (H)... With the seats comfortably reclined, the chest was tight against the top of the seat and little space between the back window and the chest. i was able to stuff some small things down at the bottom between the chest and the seats, but very little...

 

Just measured, seat up = 37.5"; seat down = 63.5".

 

it is something like 80 inches because i am 6'1" and can lay down back there.

 

I actually used a tape measure and it measured out to 63.5. I could see you laying diagonally maybe.
