Man these keys they give us are tough. I lost my keys out in the yard about 6 months ago. While fishing yesterday in the yard I happen to looked down and seen something shinny just sticking out of the dirt. I picked it up and what do you know its my keys. I walked over towards the jk and tried to use them thinking that is was fubard and it worked the locks tried the engine and it started as well.

These things are tougher than hell 6 month out in the elements, sprinklers coming on twice a day for two days out of the week.

My key went through a wash/dry cycle at home days after I picked up my jeep. Key still works after 2 years.

Glad you found your key!

Did you catch anything else?
