So i finally got them to replace my brake lines after complaining too chrysler hq as i was told the brake lines were backordered.
Well now it seems my brakes are very spongy. I have to press down alot more than i did before to stop and wanted to know if that would be normal after getting brake lines replaced. from what ive searched seems like there may be air in the lines?

Def. have air in the lines. Go back have them bleed the lines which should if already been done. Damn dealerships, cant do anything right. You may also want to check the replaced lines with a flashlight for any signs of a leak. If the monkey who did your lines wasnt smart enough to bleed them who knows if he even put them in correctly.

So i brought it too another dealer as the one i usually go to is full of idiots. The new dealer didnt even hesitate to call a rental agency when they had no rental cars available, something my previous dealer has never done. They just say sorry no rentals available...Dbags.. Anyways the new dealer determined there was alot of air in the lines and mentioned that the other dealer probally didnt even try bleeding the brakes after replacing the brake lines.. So im going to pickup my jeep tonight and hopefully my brakes will be all set for my x-country drive to AZ next week!

Thanks for the help all

edit: Got back from the dealer and brakes are working great now, guess its just a matter of finding a dealer whos service dept knows what thier doing

Only to true ... they just did my son's inner fender trim recall they did such a NON professional job as the saying goes a 5 yr old could of done it better, and that's a complement... it really looks like the car porter took his dull pocket knife out and hacked the ship out of it

I agree 100% other than having my computer flashed I am the only one who works on my Jeep. I have a long history with the Jeep dealer where I have purchased four Jeeps over the last twenty years. They learned a long time ago how picky I am and allow me to do my own warranty work (great deal for them I pick up the part drop off the defective one they write a RO and a tech charges time to it and Jeep pays them) I have never had any major issues so it has worked out well.
