Default K13 Recall- Brake lines

So i've brought my vehicle in for the K13 recall twice already. First time i was there for 1.5 hours and all they did was change my oil and told me they cant do the recall because they're too busy at the moment and to bring it back to have brake lines replaced during the week even though i made an appointment.i then bring it back during the week and after dropping it off they call me later saying that the brake lines were fine and didnt need to be replaced so the dealer wasted my whole day because they didnt check well enough the first time.!!! Even worse was that i couldnt find a ride home (my fault for not planning ahead) and after finally finding someone the dealer tells me i can get a loaner After my ride shows up!

as i was doing a tire rotation i noticed my break lines are not perfectly round and it seems the paint has been stipped off (i was told by service manager when i brought it there the first time that if paint is gone they HAVE to replace brake line)

Heres a few pics of what my brake lines look like and would like peoples opinions if i should bring it back to the dealer to have it replaced under the recall or not. I also live in NE so theres alot of a salt and sand on the road that can corrode/rust the brake lines since the paint is gone

Cutting your lines is exactly why I avoid them touching my jeep. Always seems some thing is broken after I let some one else touch it even the dealer.

Your marker lights are in the front of the wheel well, the brakes are on the rear. How can they possibly cut them?

Your brakelines should be replaced, you can visibly see where they were rubbing , that is unsat imo and as per recall if they show visible signs of wear , they are to be replaced. Whomever did the fender trim needs to be fired for not advising the lines be replaced. If it were me, I'd go to another dealer, tell them what happened , have them fix it and send the pics and name of the other dealer to NHSTA and to DC.

So i called another dealer in the my area and they said they can't replace the brake lines as the other dealership performed the work already and i would need them to do it. Called my dealer and they said "i dunno how my tech overlooked it" when i brought it in the specefically have the brake lines replaced

So now i need to bring it back to them, at least this time im getting a loaner

FWIW, I had took mine to the shop the other day and they did a OC, tire rotation and the K 13 recall and still got me out in two hours.
Must have been a slo day.
