Nope, I called a mobile glass shop and they replaced it in the parking lot of my office while I was working.

Just noticed you have a 2012. It may cost more to get one with the stickers/etching.

Edit: pm MTG. I know he replaced a 2012 windshield this summer.

Default broken windshield

Broke my 2012 windshield. Dealer replacement with grille above mirror and jeep in passenger corner was $550, aftermarket was $185 without logos.

Doesn't auto insurance cover windshield glass repairs / replacement with no deductible as required by law?

It does if you pay for the coverage. The OP should check his insurance provider to see if he is already paying for the coverage.

bwhahaha.

My '08 is on windshield #5. In NJ and TX it's covered under comprehensive. I keep $100 deductible for this very reason.
