I thought it looked like they just armor alled the heck out of them. They still look textured to me.

There seems to be images reflected in them, more than I think you would get with armorall. Reminds me of the TJ flares that people shoot with Krylon Fusion paint

I think the painted look nice, but I will replace them with the basic plastic after I beat them up real bad. Mine are already all scarred up. Not paying for the paint on the secon go round.
