I havent looked at it carefully but why cant you remove the bolts?

I want to take the soft top out but I dont want to remove the hard top untill summer just incase it leaks.

Removing the hard top to remove the soft top was really easy. Take off the front two panels and then it's just two bolts in the front and 6 in the back, unclip the wire harness and wiper wahser fluid. It literally takes 20 min to do. If you have a friend to help it's even easier. The hard top for the 4 door weights about 90 lbs. Replacement was even easier because the bolts holes lined up perfectly when first set down.

It took me about two hours to do mine a few weeks ago, but that was because I had to drive around topless for a while.
