Just to be different...
Just to be different - I have no complaints. My 2 door Rubi is my third Jeep Wrangler. While loaded with all the options available, it is bone stock mechanically and it is awesome. The sway bar disconnect works great. Both lockers works great. The 4:1 low is fantastic. I have no complaints at all. Maybe I'm just lucky or maybe I'm naive but there have been no problems. Just thought I'd be different.

While every vehicle cannot be perfect, I have to say that my JK has been trouble free and the best vehicle I have ever owned, bar none! It's good to hear that other people are experiencing that too. I thought I was being too tender with it!

Complaints...
Ok my two cents...
First, my JK hasn't had any problems. I've done 33 inch tires on Soft 8s, new speakers, and thats about it. I love the thing. The ONLY fun leak I've experienced isn't really a leak. When I open the door I get that nice trail of water into the floorboard off the roof raingutter! Thats a fun one. But my JK rocks with no problems and yes I have taken it on some mild offroading on our farm's hunting trails through the swamp.
Now, for those HATERS. Yes I said haters. People who say a "REAL JEEP" doesn't have this or that. Some even slam the new JK due to slanted front grill or curved windsheild. You will always have them. Those who go after the people who got power locks or windows are the same guys that just couldn't afford that option so they slam it when somone else gets it. I've gotten comments on how my Jeep is an automatic. Guy says... "REAL JEEPS HAVE MANUALS!". Oh please. My Jeep is a stock X with power nothing and the only thing I got was Air Conditioning (oh dear god its not a real jeep) and an automatic tranny (somebody come shoot me!).
To those of us who are real Jeep guys and girls (yes girls are real Jeepers), we know creature comforts are nice and that they do not detract from the quality, style, and just plain fun of owning a Jeep Wrangler. So whoever you are out there just enjoy your Jeep and have fun! Mine is perfect!
And WAVE DAMMIT!

I for one was happy that we had the option for power windows and locks with the JK. Personally, I don't want them on my Jeep, but now I don't have to be defensive when people ask about not having them. On my TJ I'd say no you cannot get them, but I don't want them anyway. Now, I can say, yeah you can get them, but I didn't want them.
