Default Jeep wont start

I went to go start my 07 wrangler this morning and it would not start. I had no power going to the dash or the key.
Cleaned all of the cables on it then the wires then randomly my radiator fan went on when I put the wires back on.

Anybody help me with this

Also when I was driving last night I had a lightning bolt pop up on the dashboard

Its probably showing some codes. Codes can be read on the dashboard if you have the manual to show you how. Otherwise an auto parts store will let you use a reader, or there is always the dealer.

If you can't get enough life out of the Jeep's electrics to display codes, you're probably going to need the dealer.

Dead battery. Pull the battery and have it tested at your local auto parts store. Another possibility is the alternator is bad and is why the battery went dead. After the battery situation is fixed you can bring the vehicle to any auto parts store to have the alternator tested as well. If its your originally battery from 07 your lucky it lasted this long.

Just replaced the battery in my 07 with an optima red top 800 CCA opposed to the 600 in stock battery.
