I Agree. The wrinkles never come out of mine. Doesn't bother me too much but it is different than other Jeeps I have had. TJ would have wrinkles if stored in a cold area but would go away when it warmed up. I think that is because it was much more tighter with the TJ. The JK is wider and its almost like they cut it larger intentionally to make it easier to put in I guess. But it always has those wrinkles because of it. Those stupid removable clips is the dumbest design ever. They work poorly and the fact that is something to loose is also bad. I don't understand why they couldn't have stuck with the metal ones like the past models.

mine has a little trouble in the top left corner... i think the problem is from building angle while zipping... i mean the zipper is trying to zip at a angle plus on the left side its also trying to pull the window up in to place.. where as when i get to the right side the window is 3/4 in place and it just slides right around stress free i plan on getting the jeep graphite stuff soon... oh remember not to use WD40.. that would not be very beneficial at all.

Mine wasn't wavy at all... until I rolled it up. It does soften in the sunlight though and gets less pronounced.

I've never really had issue zipping mine up. I do get cut knuckles when i round the corners at the top though.... and I'm never able to COMPLETELY bring the zippers all the way down (They stop about 1/2 an inch above the bottom). No leaks though (knock on wood). I just fasten the velcro straps in the back, and it seems to give me the rest of the coverage needed.

The plastic glass will have some wave in it no matter what you do. It's just clear plastic, nothing you can do about it. It's part of owning a (real) soft top jeep. lol
The zipper lubricant that BaltChief referenced is a great thing. It's called out in the owners manual and it will make zipping easier. I have to say that the Wrangler, perhaps more than any other vehicle on the road, is a vehicle who's owners "must" read the owners manual. So many problems that owners post about around here would be answered and or avoided if they would read the owners manual. MOPAR also sells plastic window cleaner at the dealerships so be sure to get some of that too.

Finally, it's a good thing if your windows require a little grunt and effort to put in and take out. That tells you that you're getting a good tight seal and it's doing it's job of keeping the weather out on rainy days. Be sure you follow the procedure for removing the rear window to the letter. It's in the owners manual. Most noted on that is the bottom support bar that sort of roll / snaps into place and should slide freely from side to side once removed. This allows you to slide it and pull it out from behind the sail panels. Be sure you unhook that driver side sail panel to facilitate this. My soft top gets difficult to zip in the corners as well, it's supposed to. Again, and I can't emphasize this enough, read that owners manual. Read it cover to cover and it will solve a lot of your issues before they become issues.

Don't hit it with a Heat Gun. It's got way too much heat and it's very localized. I used to lay mine on the grass in the sun until it was my lawn that I was killing. Lay the window on top of a large beach towel and place it on the driveway. That may work better but I don't suggest the heat gun. I've never had one that was so stubborn that I couldn't get it flat. It will never be like glass though. I guess it's part of owning a Jeep.
