I've also read it is 2.25" for the cage. And with the padding it is closer to 2.75".

Well it actually uses a couple different diameters depending on what part of the cage you are talking about. Also some of it is rectangulare tubing and some of the stuff that looks round is actually oval in shape makeing measurement a little more difficult. The main sections in the back are around 2.25" and relitivly thin.

Does anyone know the wall thickness of the factory/OEM roll bar in a JK, especially the main arch behind the front seats ?
Been looking all other the interwebs for hours and cant find it
