Default Jeep grille logo

I've seen a few rigs on here with the front Jeep logo removed from the grille. I've tested out pulling on those letters a few times out of curiousity and they're pretty stuck on there. So my question is how some of you removed them without damaging the grille in any way?
Thanks. x

I heard a few people say that the got it off by using fishing line like dental floss to slide it off then cleaned the sticky residue off with goo gone

Hair dryer or hot sun to heat up the adhesive. Then you pull off with fingers or use a screwdriver wrapped with something non-marring.

Dental floss gets my vote as well. I used it to remove the dealer emblem which was stuck on with the same foam adhesive. Get it nice and warm from a hair dryer or out in the sun and just work the floss through. Once you get it off use some goo-gone or WD-40 to remove the remaining crap. Works like a charm.

You don't have to worry about scratching your paint with the floss also.

I've always used a plastic bondo spreader and a hair dryer. The hair dryer softens the adhesive right up and the bondo spreader is soft enough plastic that it will not mar the paint.

Hair Dryer or Heat Gun, Fishing Line.. And afterwards I have componded and wax where the logo was so there is no outline of the jeep Logo.. you may have to wax/compond a couple of times to see it match perfectly

I Debadged, using Dental Floss, and Goo Gone, then cleaned the area with an Alcohol Pad, and finally soap and water. Afterwards, I Rebadged with this logo:

Cheers!
