Jeep 3.6l ticking
So heres the thing. 2012 jk 2013 motor no warranty BTW.
So I blew the piston rings for whatever reasons just on the left side tho. I replaced the Piston rings on the left side only (right side was perfect on compression). After I was done with that a very noticeable ticking was present. Ended up replacing the tappets and that ticking went away compression was 180 180 180 on the right and 155 150 155 on the left. ... But a new ticking came. It's smoking thru the breather but no liquid oil just smells like exhaust. But it is quite a bit of smoke. The video attached shows the new ticking. It is pretty quite on a cold start but after warming up it's very noticeable.
If someone can help me out cuz I'm pretty stuck at this point.
Thanks
Colby
