Default Infinty speaker upgrade

Are these that much more of an improvement over the basic stock speakers? I have no clue when it comes to audio/video stuff. Found a pair on CL for $50. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm not sure which speakers are more sensitive, the factory non-infinity, or factory infinity.

If the infinities are not as sensitive as your stockers, you'll likely experience a degradation in sound unless you also amplified them.

That's my generic, shoot-from-the-hip experience on the matter.

My '07 had infinity speakers and my '12 doesn't - huge difference. The stock setup is horrible. I'll definitely be upgrading. If it was even decent sound quality I'd be cool with it, but it's so poor that I can't stand it.

Yea but if I just plug the infinitys into the existing stuff? I've heard mixed reviews so far. I think it may be a waste of time and I should just get the kicker upgrade

If you don't have the amp it won't sound as good.

i upgraded my 07 JKUX's infinity system with much, much better infinitys. huuuuuuge difference. even with the stock head, what used to be loud on 22/23 is now just as loud on 15/16. four 6.5's and the two tweets only ran about 200ish with shipping. well worth it.
