I had a 92 YJ for 20 years before I bought my new 12 JKR auto with 4.10 gears. My wife had a JKUR and now a Grand Cherokee which takes care of the lack of space in the 2 dr. I never liked driving the JKUR and have only driven her GC once. I now have 35’s on the JKR and am happy with its performance. The 2 dr. is great around town and so easy to park. No four door for me.

Deal was too good to be true. The price on the 2013 Oscar mike was $17,700. They then added a $1000 fee because I'm not a former customer $895 used car prep and $595 document fee. Then they were only going to give me about $13k for my 2012 Jku sport s manual trans with max tow, hard top. I walked.

Yeah, those dealership sales gimmicks. Bait and switch at the end. I'm sure most would have just nodded their head and said, "Oh...ok, I guess those things are to be expected".

$1000 fee for not being a former customer is funny as hell. means that if you were a former customer they have hosed you enough already lol. They wanted an extra $2500 just to sell you a used car holy crappola.

It astounds me that dealers could get away with things like this in today's time of buying vehicles online sight unseen and having them delivered to your door. Biggest crock of sheeyat I think I've heard in a while.

Even after adding the hidden fees, the price of the 2013 Oscar mike was not crazy out of line. What was out of line is getting offered $13k for my 2012 JKU when the realistic KBB average trade in said $14.9K.

an OM is just a sport with a decal and embroidered seat and different colored rims if I remember correctly. If you are really jonesing for a 2 door rent one for a day and do the things you normally do and see if it is worth trading for. One thing is any used vehicle you are taking a chance.

I don't need to rent one. This is a spare vehicle for my wife and I. She's developed rheumatoid arthritis in her knees and the clutch is painful. Since I want to replace my wrangler with one that is an auto, I figure I only need the 2-door since my primary vehicle is now a Toyota Tundra. I'm not set on the Oscar mike, though the seats were very nice. I just want a decent 2-door auto with the nice convenience packages and a hard top. 2012 or newer. I prefer 3.73 gearing, but likely will need to settle for 3.21. I'll be keeping it stock height.

I pulled the trigger tonight. Traded my 2012 Jku with 108,000 miles for a 2014 JK Willy's automatic with 54,000 miles. My Jku + $6500 out the door for the Willy's.
