Default I need 4 new Seatbelts

Ok I had today off so I took the Mrs. and my "best friend" , Bull to one of our favorite hiking trails to get some fresh air and enjoy the sun.

We stopped at a mini mart for some snacks and left Bull our 7 year old Akita in the Jeep for 5-8 minutes.
I dont know what got into him and he never even chewed as a puppy but he decided to eat 4 of my seatbelts. Im sure glad he left the one that never gets used...

So I call the dealer....

$650 before shipping.

I called a buddy of mine in Fresno who runs a wrecking yard and he cant find 4 belts of the same color. Right now he can only find a tan 2 black and a grey for around $45 ea. Im not into clown cars..

Would any of you fellow JK'ers happen to have built up a JKU, 86'd the seatbelts and put in some 5 points and maybe have the seatbelts collecting dust in a corner of the shop?

I used a water knot on the front belts for the trip home but it was a tight fit and I need to get something in there FAST as Im grounding the Jeep until I get some belts back in it. (Skydiving naked over Libya is almost safer than driving in Cali.)

Edit: Sorry I forgot to rotate the seatbelt pics.

Sure it wasn't the secret squirrel society that chewed up your seatbelts and the dog is taking the rap? (seen your avatar...)

Make some new custom dog-hide seat belts.

Just sayin.....

He looks very guilty, sad and repentant or is it just a tummy ache that's got him down?

A black helicopter just flew over my house.

Dog hide seatbelts. Whats really funny about that is my neighbor wants to shave him this summer and spin "Akita Yarn".

He was sad and remorseful fom the minute i got in the Jeep. I didnt even raise my voice at him, he just knew. That pic was from a while back when he followed me on my horse for 2 days on an Elk hunt in Eastern Oregon, so he was wiped out.

The service guy at the local dealer told me today that grey belts are 30 days out but he can get me black immediately.

Im gonna give it a few days and keep looking for some used take-off's, drive the old Ford in the meantime so I dont have to draw too much from my front axle/rubicrawler/hardtop funds.

My Mom bought me a expensive designer rug for are living room. The first night my dog ate a portion of it. She calls me all the time and asks me how it looks, I say "Oh mom it looks so great, wait until you see it". In the mean time I been looking at getting it repaired or replaced so as not to hurt her feelings but the longer it goes the better it looks. When I first saw it I shit but now I hardly notice it. I don't think that's gonna fly!
