Cool How to switch off the annoying 'beep'

Guys,

I like to keep my music on in the car when I am working in my garage, however as soon as I open the drivers door a intermitted beep sounds ( any suggestions how to disable the 'beep'? (apart from closing the door )

Am I the only one with this problem?

Cheers,

Mark

My jeep and I am a bit reluctant to cut into my doors wiring loom, I assume other items are connected the this as well.

Any thoughts?

you ever take the doors off? it's the same wiring harness...under the dash is a quick-connect plug, just disconnect that, problem solved.

There is actually a fuse for that. It's just for that door switch.

If the ignition is set at ACC, the beeps should go off after a few moments.

Default No More Dinging

When your driver door is open use your finger or other object and close the latch on the door, it will click closed twice no more ding...just remember to pull the door handle before closing the door or THUD the door won't close and you will be startled lol
