Had to get new shocks and a new fender. Everything was wonderful till today when I went out for a leisurely drive (ok a little fun) now it looks as though I new two new fenders. Have a feeling I will be needing a lift if I keep this fun up.

15 months and two minor probs. No worse than any other vehicle I've had in this regard and better than any other vehicle in all others!

Unfortunatly I've had zero issues so far with my X.
My 99 BMW 328i was a different story though!
My 2007 Suzuki SX4 had a rear window motor fail.
I guess statistically I should be having major, catastrophic freaking problems with my X by now but we’ll see what the future brings.
So far so good........I've been drinking an im alittley drunky

Unhappy

Fun Today...

ESP, BAS Brake, ABS and Check Engine lights all came on & stayed on.... and the Speedometer, odometer, and cruise control stopped working.

It still runs and drives. I guess I'll be at the dealer Monday.

I guess I am with the minority here with two issues. I had to have a new soft top installed because the first one was made out of square so the rear window always had a big fold in the fabric at the bottom. This took months and three new rear windows before the dealer finally decided it was the top after all. I nagged and nagged on the dealer and they were calling it "Good to go" with the last new window install. Second issue is transmission related. We have the six speed manual. It was fine for the first 7500 miles. Then it started to shift extremely hard from first to second gear. The first time in the dealer reattached the upper and lower shift boots. It was better but not right. The second time in the dealer said he couldn't duplicate the issue. The third time in the dealer's tranny guy said it isn't right but they called Chrysler tech for information and Chrysler told them this is a characteristic of this transmission. I took it to a second dealer and their tranny guy said the same thing and also would not work on it because he too was advised by Chrysler about the "characteristic" thing. So now I have 12000 miles with a transmission that shifts from first to second like an old Massey Ferguson and Chrysler could care less. I've gone to full synthetic in the tranny in hopes it would improve things. It may have helped a little but it hasn't cured the crappy shift. Last Chrysler product for me. Well, I've ranted enough, time to go do and oil change.

  • I had the stall bug. The recall seems to have cured it, no more occurrences.
  • Minor issue with the brake/shifter interlock cable on my auto. Fixed and non issue since.
  • Soft top intermittently leaks above the inside door handles. Cant seem to be duplicated with any consistency by me or them, so i guess it just is what it is until someone figures it out.
I would definetly buy another Jeep.

1- Ft Seal squeal
2- FT rotors needed to be turned
3- Radio popping
3- passanger ft window snug fit pulled the weather seal lose
