31,000 now, no oil usage, and purring like a cat. Or a larger sized kitten.

Only 11,000 on my 2008 JK, not losing oil at all. Had a company vehicle, 2008 Dodge Nitro with the 3.8L and drove 89,500 trouble-free miles. Hoping the JK is the same.

Bought a 07 Sahara 4dr about a month ago, about 55k miles. I bought it from a dealer and they showed me the service sheet with what they did after inspection. Only had to change the head gasket. They said everything else was fine.

I already drove about 1.5k miles and did not see the infamous oil vanishing "feature". The engine works very smoothly and I can barely notice it's on when stopping on traffic lights. Dealer put a Quaker State oil but I'll change shortly to Castrol full synthetic 5W-30.

Default Engine problems

12k miles started hearing a "tick" at 3k only when its cold out\and just on initial start. Jeep replaced lifters (not really happy about major engine work on such a new vehicle) what else was I going to do......still waiting for a resolution. Chrysler corporation is working on this with someone from engineering on their side so we will see what comes of it..... So far still living with problem, other than that, no other problems.... knock wood

oh I have a 2010 Wrangler 2dr. 6 speed
