How long until your soft windows got damaged?
Like many others, when I take down my soft top, I just unzip the rear window and let it lay down. I've only done this a few times...maybe 4 or 5 at the most, but I noticed today that I'm already getting some wear on the window where it rubs against the vent on gate.
It seems like unless you're *really* careful with the soft windows it's inevitable that they take some damage. So how long was it until you damaged yours?

Mine came damaged, they stuck that damn temp license on it fore I could get to them. Pulled it off, glue spots are still there to this day. Just get some good plastic window cleaner like Novus. They're gonna get scratch and scuffed no matter what.

Mine got messed up the second time I took them off. I put them in the back seat and got all dinged up Not I have a flat out of the way spot where they won't get damaged.

I paid $80 and bought the storage holder. It works great and roles up so you can stick it any where. I got a few scratches before I bought it but at least I can see out of my windows. I've had mine 2 years next month and the top is always off so it is worth the money

Mine got jacked up the first tight trail I took with the top up, windows in. Shrubbery scratched em pretty good. The rest is from rolling and throwing in the back of the Jeep. I tried rolling them in a bag/towels but after I got a hold of some plastic window polish, it was way too tedious to mess with it. The polish takes most of the fine scratches and any haze out of the windows. I f fiugre they will last a few years and then I'll just get new ones. They're gonna get old, cracked, hazy and F'ed up anyway.

Yeah...I had a bird provide some....well, you know! Talk about acid rain! Didn't realize it was on there and now after washing it off it's like someone took a lighter and melted it. Weirdest thing I've seen.

Yup roll that back window up tight, or you are going to get rub marks on it. I stopped worrying about the scratches after the first couple months.

That's pretty much where I am with it. I don't mind dealing with the side windows, but that back one is just an extra pain in the arse, which is why I just lay it down, like so many others do. I realize it's going to take some wear on that one spot, but I'm pretty much over it
