Generally, Rubis have 44s on both ends, all others are 35s front/44s rear. Trac-loc should be identified on your window sticker. I've heard there is a way on the Jeep website to pull a window sticker or buildsheet if you bought used. Or you can lift the rear axle and spin the wheels.

You probably won't be able to measure the torque, but you should get an idea how hard it should be to spin the tire by hand if it's a limited slip axle.
Even if the limited slip is worn out, you should still feel some resistance when you spin the tire by hand.

1. Place blocks in front and rear of both front wheels.
2. Raise one rear wheel until it is completely off the ground.
3. Engine off, transmission in neutral, and parking brake off.
4. Remove wheel and bolt Torque Check Tool 6790 (1) or equivalent tool to studs.
5. Use torque wrench (2) on Torque Check Tool (1) to rotate wheel and read rotating torque.
6. If rotating torque is less than 41 N·m (30 ft. lbs.) or more than 271 N·m (200 ft. lbs.) on either wheel the unit must be replaced.

As stated above, not 35 front. D30's are on all JK's that dont have the D44 on the front.

SOME early JK's came with D35's on the rear, but we are few & far between. Most are all D44's in the rear now.
