There's a learning curve the first time, but it's not difficult. Those who say it took hours probably have a hard time walking and chewing gum at the same time. Read the manual and watch the YouTube videos. I spent about a hour installing the top the first time and part of that was letting it heat up in the sun.

My 08 wasn't to bad the first time, just a bit snug, but doable. The premium top on my 13 was extremely tight the first time, had an extra set of hands to help which made it easier. After it was on for a bit it has loosened up enough that I can easily open and close it by myself now.

Not hard at all, a little troublesome, a lot easier with two people for the install.

Put it all together off the jeep then use quick connects to hook it right up. Def let sit in sun for a few hours before u latch it all down.
Good luck

I've done this three times.

Be sure to clip the windows down before zipping.

Just did it today on my 2013 jku and solo it took me 3 hours which included removing the hard top and hanging it from my garage ceiling out of the way. The tips about getting the side windows in the channels before zipping is crucial and also move your front seats up as far as they will go so you can get some leverage to clasp the front clasps.
