Default How good is the AC on the new JK's?

I live in AZ so AC is VERY important! How is the AC on the new JK's compared to other vehicles. Does it seem like a good unit? Does it get ice cold?

Thanks.

the A/C seems pretty good - esp compared to my 06 TJ.... compared to my 1986 Monte Carlo Hotrod the A/C doesnt get real cold..

it pushes out a high volume of air which makes it feel nice and cool..

in the backseat of a 4 door black soft-top its not real cold but you dont roast either.....

I have a 2 door with a soft top and it works fine here in the hot humid summers of Arkansas, but I still rarely use it because the top is either down or up with the side and back windows out.
I think it will work just fine in AZ., I used to live in Mesa and I know how hot it gets there.

I always complained about every AC unit I have owned, including a 2002 Mercedes S class, and the JK is by far the best! Nice and cold, and big volume of air with good adjustable vents. My JK is black wth a soft top, and although southern cal does not get as hot as AZ, I think you will be happy.

Don't use mine much either, but on one long summer trip it got a lot of use and performed great. I don't live in the desert though.

I don't live in the desert but it can get pretty hot in NJ in the summer and the humidity is brutal.

My 07 soft top stays comfortable on the hottest days with AC on.

Considering the heat load of the sun on black canvas I think the Jeep AC is excellant.

But like so many others I still prefer to have that top down and doors off and my Jeep boonie hat on in the summer.

As a previous 4Runner owner I was always spoiled with creature comforts like heat and air...or SO I THOUGHT! My JK gets ice cold in about 5 min with the AC and feels like HELL after 10 min of heat at full blast. I now know I AM spoiled!

I have to agree, my Jk has three setting from left to right they are:

Deep Space, Earth, and Hell

Climate control is one thing Jeep got right this time around!!!!
