for one, you need to be an Olympic power-lifter to push in the clutch.
The JK is actually a really good winter vehicle, engine warms up pretty quick, it throws tons of heat out of the heater. You just have to go really slow till things start warming up!

at the people in my area, it's predicted to hit +21 to 22 degrees F in my area the next couple of nights and people are complaining about how cold it is, hasn't been this cold since 1996, etc...

We've been lucky here since the start of winter, rarely below -10 C, and the weather has been good. I was winter camping earlier this week and the worst I got was -15C at night.
The JK held up no problem at that temp but I did have some difficulty with freezing rain on the flat windshield while driving on the highway (3hr drive). The icing got bad enough for me to stop and chip it off.
I find that with all the flat surfaces on the JK, I tend to carry around snow banks .... lol.
