horrible transmission noise
weird noise coming from what sounds like the transmission, alsmot sounds like the jeep is dragging something metal
happens at what seems to be 2000 rpm, im taking it to the stealership tomorrow and see what happens.
i read on here the it might be the torque converter, what does that cost to fix??
or does anybody know what the hell it could be

A broken ring gear on the flywheel can sound like that too. Had a vehicle years ago making a loud scraping/grinding noise (louder at idle & lower RPMs but more intermittent & less noticable above 2500RPM) that was initially diagnosed as having a cracked torque converter, but when they pulled it apart they found that a broken ring gear on the flywheel was the culprit.
