I am getting a whistling/whine any time I go above 40 mph coming from the defroster vent area of the dash. I am assuming it is coming from the hood vent, but could be wrong. The noise is there regardless of having the fan, defrost or heat on. Does anyone else have this issue? Has anyone fixed this issue? I can have the dealer check it out next time I'm there, but I don't like the idea of having them start looking around the dash with how easy it all is to scratch up.

I wouldn't go into the dash for any reason other than a mechanical repair.When you put that thing back together I bet you get all kinds of unwanted noises after that.

or its an airleak in your windshield
