Thats what I was thinking!

I also don't have the problem and based on how much force my hood latches hold down my hood, I can't see how it would lift up any.

I've had it happen when an oncoming 18 wheeler passed me. Just added a bugflector. Maybe that will take care of the problem. If not, I'll do the rubber pipe fix.

My hood constantly looks like it's going to rip right off the hinges when driving at highway speeds.

mine was terrible until i did the fix thing....now nothing ,not even going 80 passing a big rig coming the other direction on a two lane highway with a 50 MPH crosswind blowing.

Whoa!!! thats a bad scenario....LOL

Clackey if they experienced some Devore winds like we do they would be having the problem i think
