My JK has had a misaligned hood since I purchased it five years ago. It likely had body work done by the previous owner. It is perfectly aligned on the passenger side but site too low on the driver side. It this adjustable by moving the body-side hinge? If so, would I need to loosen the passenger side as well as the driver or just the driver side? Thanks

This procedure is about installing a Hi-Lift hood mount kit, but it includes the procedure for adjusting the height of the hood.

That looks very helpful. Do you think I can just loosen my driver side or should I loosen both sides. Like I said, the passenger side is perfectly aligned. Thanks!

I don't see why you couldn't just adjust the one side. If you read through the procedure, you'll see that I used rags to hold the hood up a bit while doing the install (which you won't be, of course) and making the adjustment. Regardless, it's very quick and I'll be surprised if you don't return and say done, easy-peasey, thanks. LOL.

Is there a but and bolt to manage or is the nut part of the hinge?

I adjusted this one time seven years ago. I don't remember a nut, but at my age ...

Easiest thing I have ever fixed on the jeep. Thanks for the insight before I actually got off my lazy butt to look at it
