Mine is a Rough Country. Whopping $70 and no plastic trimming. No wiring. I just put it on for recovery.

I'f you are not concerned about the wiring harness save yourself some money and go with a rugged ridge or something cheaper than mopar. RR is a good quality hitch and ran me about $70-$80. easy install as well.

The hitch and wiring cost me just a hair over $100 and about a half hour of my time. On the Rubicon the nearly $300 price tag on the trailer package was ridiculous, especially because the Rubicon came with the 4:10 gears already. I think I sold the rear hook off the Rubicon for $45 bucks making my total cost less than $60 plus my time.

Saved about $200 and had some fun modifying the JK at the same time.

Got a question that someone out there might be able to answer.

Any idea what the ideal height is for the ball to tow a UHaul trailer is? I'm about to move my finance (wife in a week) halfway across TX. I can't find it on UHaul's web sight. They have info about the ball size, but not height from the ground. To me that would be just as important....more so since it has more opportunity for variance.

Thanks for any help

do you have to take the hook off? I don't see why you would have to

The best solution is an adjustable height draw bar. Then you can make it right for a variety of trailers.
