Default Hi Lift Jack

I am looking to mount my Hi Lift jack, I am not getting any bumpers for the time being. I am not crazy about drilling holes as of yet, under 600 miles, so I am wondering if anyone has mounted one and where was it done?
Thanks,
Steve

I have drilled but not inside, got a lift and skids and put a sport cage in. I am trying to keep from putting holes in her yet.
Thanks for the info, I will check them out right now.

12.00 worth of ratchet straps will secure it nicely to the rear cross bar even with the hardtop on.

couple of carrage bolts throught the roll cage on the curve going down from the top and some nuts, washers and some rubber strips for vibration dampening warks well.

I got the rampage hi-lift mount. It attaches to the hinges on the tailgate. There is also a mount that attaches to the hinges on the hood of the jeep. I think its made by Warrior.

I have a four door, behind the back seats are three metal rings. I lay the Hi-Lift snug against the floor in the back, and use a cinch strap to tie it to one of the rings. No drilling, and since I already had a strap, $0 for parts.

If someone doesn't have strong aftermarket bumpers, just where exactly on a Jeep would one actually use the Hi-Lift?
