HELP!!! What lift and tires?
Ok, so I'm new to the jeep world (and I LOVE it) but I need a little advice. I have an 08 Sahara 2 dr and was wondering what lift to get and what were the best looking BFG beefy tires for light off roading and a DD. I originally thought about the teraflex leveling kit, but I'm not so sure it's going to give me enough lift. I want as much as possible without mods. Is that the 2.5 coil kit? And is that gonna look better than the leveling kit?
Also, I have stock 18's on Hillbilly ( hence my profile name )
I know this is going to sound crazy, but I work for Michelin and can get tires either free or dirt cheap, but I don't know what kind to get for the best look and performance. I want to keep my stock rims and go with either 33's or 35's and maybe 12.5. If I go with the coil kit, what will I need to upgrade to this?
Thanks in advance for all your help!! :wavey

Im thinking it already had the rubi springs, you a he to hop a lil to get it in. Maybe it's just the 18" tires. If I get the teraflex 2.5 coil kit, will I have to do any other mods right away?

i have been working this out for a year now...
checking it all out on these forums...
i am now saving for a Teraflex 2.5 coil lift and bilstein shocks...
and 33's [BFG AT's] ...
i hear that MT's may lose road traction in a pressure breaking situation...
my 2door is my DD... i plan to do light off-roading...
i already have lockers and a sway-bar disconnect...
if you go to 35's you'll need spacers to increase the wheels backspacing...
spidertrax seem to be the popular and best choice...
i've also heard that adjustable radius arms are required [8 in total]...
i'm checking that out...
check out ACE rock sliders...they are the bizz...
good luck with your mods ...
