What the hell do you expect from Jiffy Lube?
You have minimally trained individuals, making about minimum wage who are being pushed to "get it done faster" on every car that comes in.
So what do they care if your new JK's engine is destroyed because of their screw up. All they have to lose is a minimum wage job.
If you can't do the work yourself take the time to find a mechanic you can trust. It may be a search, but it pays off if you find one.

hack job shops
good call by GT####,
Many chain shops use it on services, it also has the double function of identifing techs that worked on the car, many large chains have multiple people working on the car....different colors for diff tech....
And yes chain place have a rep for forgeting such thing as oil in engine...
Remember a 16.00 oil hange....you get what you pay for...if the techs were any good, they would be at a real shop....
As much as some might joke, ASE credentials, while not assuring you of quality repairs, at least tells you the yknow they're stuff..
As a mechanic i can say that i turn away alot of work bc people want things done the wrong or cheap way
