Default Help P0404 EGR?

Ok so I was on my way home today and my check engine light came on. I have about 31,774 miles on my 2011. I stopped by AutoZone to read the check engine and their system came back with P0404 EGR.

I hope driving around with this issue won't cause anymore issues. I have an appointment with the dealership Tuesday next week for them to look at it.

Is there anything I can try and look for prior to taking it to dealership? Already checked gas cap which is good and tight.

Attached is the print out from AutoZone

It's probably just the EGR sensor that needs to be replaced. I don't think you have any worries...it's related to reduced emissions.

Here is a list of possible causes. It's usually fixed by replacing the EGR valve.

Just want to say thanks for the help. I took it to the dealership, they kept it for two days, then they're placed the EGR. All under warranty...huge plus.
