With that 4 inch gap does it look like it will line up if you force it closed? If so I would yank it down and latch it.

Orange, I thought that was a valid point you had that you just edited. Why did you retract it? I have the JKU so i wouldn't know.

I was on my Iphone and thought I saw something, but the pic was too small. I just hopped on the computer and still have the same question so here goes again
did you have to install teh bracket to teh roll bat to secure the bows? If so are they properly installed? 2dr guys, dose the bracket look like yours?

If i understood that correctly then yes. His does look mine (see my attached picture from about 2 minutes ago)

agreed, open the latch and you get a couple more inches to get the hook attached
