Help .... Door release latch won't return -- door won't close
- Anyone else had this issue ? or seen a solution posted ?
The front door release cable won't return after the handle has been pulled to open the door, so therefore the latch won't return to allow it to engage and lock onto the B pillar.
I've removed the panel from the door, checked the cables, and fiddled with it all.
DOES the inner door release handle have a return spring ?
Till I've figured this out, I'm running with the cables showing and poking the lower cable back to get the door latch to catch and hold on the B pillar.
